The Elliston Australian Salmon Fishing Championship
While fishing sister was staying at Streaky Bay we put together a video series that explains the Elliston Australian Salmon Fishing Championship.
The Elliston Australian Salmon Fishing Championship is held annually on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, held from 1st June to 31st August 2023. The competition has proven to be a huge success with many fishers coming back each year.
There is fantastic surf fishing in Elliston, and the Salmon Fishing Championship is a perfect time to visit and enjoy some excellent fishing while trying your luck at catching the big one. It is good fun for all levels (please fish responsibly!) and the breath taking scenery offers great photo opportunities for the winter photo competition.
